I think you would be a really great canidate for Penn ED. Your SAT and GPA is amazing, and your ECs are really impressive.

Williams College-high match
Harvard University-reach
Princeton University-reach
Brown University-reach
Cornell University-low reach
Stanford University-reach
Johns Hopkins-match
Northwestern-match
UChicago- low reach
UMass-safety
UC Berkeley-high match
UCLA-high match

Thanks!
Bump

You’re obviously a strong student and you have nice ECs, but they don’t stand out much when compared to other applicants. Make sure you have another safety on your list and more matches; your current list is too reach-heavy.

Penn - High reach
Williams College - High reach
Harvard University - High reach
Princeton University - High reach
Brown University - Reach
Cornell University - Reach
Stanford University - High reach
Johns Hopkins - Low reach
Northwestern - Reach
UChicago - High reach
UMass - Safety
UC Berkeley - High match
UCLA - Match

I think you look good for Penn ED.

@Quiksilver: the reason my list is very reach heavy is because I’m probably going to graduate school anyway and if I don’t get into a top tier school I would rather save my parents money and go to UMass which is getting a new honors college area of campus that is not too shabby for ~10k in state with tuition waiver and merit aid. Also if I do well I can still go to a very good grad school (one of my teachers went to UMass and then got her phd at MIT).

Bump2

Bumpbumpbump

more bumps guys>>>>>>

Depending on your state, you could easily play for UChicago, Johns Hopkins, or Williams if you’re ranked #47! Also, your standings look good for Penn GPA wise, do a bit more for your ECs though. But then again… Penn really cares about their incoming class graduating at the top 10% of their schools so idk…
Well, you’ll be competing ED to Penn with me  Best of luck to you :stuck_out_tongue:
Your UW GPA tops mine by a lot… that’s for sure!

Iamnotok, I remember reading your profile and thinking Oh crap, this kid is amazing based on your extracurriculars and leadership (I think there was a lot of “Board of this”, “Pres of that”) which I’m pretty jealous of :D. Nice to see a fellow tennis player as well XD. Hopeful Penn walk on as well if everything goes well. Your GPA is a little lower, but your out-of-school stuff is really awesome. The reason I’m not thinking recruiting is because I’m short (for a tennis player) and due to my small legs my times aren’t good (like 14 Minute 2-mile).

You have a cool story, and I wish you good luck for Penn ED if you don’t apply Early for recruiting.

Update. I got an internship at a Fortune 500 company working as a finance intern. Also, hopefully beginning a job at Starbucks in the fall. And I got all 5’s on my AP’s pleasantly =D. So I have:
5 English Lit
5 US
5 Physics B
5 Chem
5 Euro.

Any changes? I feel like having the internships and gasp a minimum wage job may make me stand out a little more.

You have a really good GPA , SAT. You had been involved in a lot of societies and organization. You have a good Admission process.

In my view to go to Harvard and Stanford you need to be very different than other 30.000. Your essays must says about this.

Best luck and maybe we will meet in the same university!

bump 10 char?

I think I forgot to mention SAT IIs.

800 Chem (soph), 800 Math IIC (Junior), 790 Physics (Junior), 740 Bio (freshman)

Shameless bumping
