Chance me for Ivy's (Columbia, Yale, Harvard, Cornell), USC, UCLA, Johns Hopkins, UC Berkeley, UChicago, NYU, Carnegie Mellon.

I intend to double major. One of the two will certainly be either vocal performance or musical theatre (most likely vocal performance), and the second is undecided. (something along the lines of some science, literature, psychology or something)

I'm an Asian (mostly Bangladeshi, but also Japanese and Greek) female from an upper middle class family from So Cal, and I know for a fact I won't be receiving any financial aid, hahaha. My dad is connected with the UC system as faculty and chief of endocrinology at UCR.

I'm a sophomore at a public suburban high school of about 500 per class.

I'm in the top 15% of my class. As far as academics go, it's been rocky and quite the struggle because of multiple health problems I had/have and being in and out of the doctor's, but I'm getting better and perhaps my grades will be more consistent and I will rank higher, as a result. I'm praying for that, but it's obviously without guarantee. I took the PSAT 1st semester, didn't study and got a 190 which I think is okay?

I'd say I'm a good essay-writer, and my recs should be great because I have an amazing friendship with my counselor and my choir director and theatre director will be able to talk about 4 years with me, and I have great relationships with both of them.

The only AP sophomores can take is AP Euro. I'm taking 3 AP's next year, and 4 my senior year.

Clubs:
Drama Club (4 years, will probably be exec by senior year)
International Thespian Society (3 years)
Photography club (2 years)

Les Chanteuses: advanced women's show choir, 1st place gold @ Heritage festival in classical & show choir @ San Antonio (1 year)
Chamber Singers: school's top choir, 1st place gold in classical @ Heritage festival in New York City (3 years, I have an officer position this year and will probably be student director my senior year)
Counterpoint: advanced mixed show choir (3 years)
Femtones: advanced women's a capella group (3 years)
Masquers: top acting troupe (3 years)
Theatre Arts Co: actor and technician (4 years)
I landed a lead role in the school-wide musical as a freshman, and for my performance was nominated by the National Youth Arts Awards for "Best Lead Actress in a Musical"
Freshman year choir awards: Outstanding Soprano; Outstanding Freshman.
I recently participated in the State Thespian Festival which is basically a State competition for theatre, and I won 1st place in the duet musical category and performed my song at the main stage as a part of "Best of Fest." I qualified for Nationals and will be competing this summer @ Lincoln, Nebraska. If I could receive national recognition, that would be amazing.

7 years of violin, 4 years of upright bass (1st chair bass @ County honor orchestra one year, two years of honor orchestra participation), 5 years of cello. (in middle school I was given the "Most Outstanding" award in orchestra)
Singing (classical, musical theatre, and contemporary/pop) at many events and showcases
I write my own classical orchestral compositions and transpose music
Dance: ballet, tap, jazz. (it'll be 13 years by my senior year)
I own a small and successful photography business with my best friend, and we've photographed families, events, weddings, and high school seniors.
Modeling for 3 years (print modeling) with an LA agency.

Volunteering:
60 hours at LLUMC Summer volunteer program
100+ hours at LLUMC Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinic.

This summer I'm going to volunteer at an animal shelter.

Thanks, you guys! <3
I know of course a lot of thes schools are extremely selective and deny even the most qualified applicants, but I just want to figure out how much harder I've got to work to increase my chances just a little bit because of my not-perfect grades, but with great EC's, however, and probably a great essay and great recs.
