chance me please! and more suggestions are welcomed

i'm new to college confidential, and after reading several threads, i feel extremely inadequate to some of you amazing students out there! but i figured to give it a shot and see what you all think about my credentials and college list.

rising senior in new jersey.
ranked 10/163. 4.3687 W gpa (not sure how to calculate my UW).
based on my gpa, you'd expect me to probably break 2000, but i'm really not a good test-taker. 1810 SATs (610 CR, 540 M, 660 W). i took the ACTs but haven't gotten my score back yet.. i expect it to be somewhere around 25-28. i should break 30 for english and reading.

by the time i graduate, i would have taken 4 honors courses and 1 AP course.
my teacher expects me to get a 4-5 on the ap exam (latin).
i have gotten straight A's throughout high school, with the exception of one B+ in algebra I (it was because of the teacher... i still can't get over it!)
principal's honor roll all throughout high school (with the exception of honor roll in the first quarter of freshman year)

extra-curriculars:
national honor society
latin honor society
music honor society (will be inducted senior year)
drama club 9-12
debate team 9-12
service club (community service-oriented) 11,12
women's chorus (audition only female ensemble) 11, 12

i will be coorganizing and cohosting an annual cabaret for the music deparment my senior year
peer leader 12 (only open to seniors. its sort of a big brother, big sister type of position to freshmen)

outside of school:
i was an altar server at my church for 2 years and have volunteered 30+ hours there
i am a youth referee for my local AYSO group (2004-present). i have volunteered 180+ hours to this group. i am also a mentor to newly certified referees.
i will be a member of a special commission my county offers for high school female seniors on the status of women for the 2012-2013 school year.
i have volunteered for several organizations, such as the special olympics, with my school's service club.

i plan to be a sociology major and music minor. this is my tentative list:

UVA (reach.. again)
william & mary (my guidance counselor believes this is a match but i think its a reach)
wake forest
elon
villanova

BC
providence (legacy here. my great uncle was a professor, 2 of my uncles and 1 cousin attended and graduated)
wagner (safety)

wow, this is longer than i expected! i would love some realistic suggestions too! thank you to all who take their time to read this and offer me advice. :)

why so many views but no responses? i would really appreciate it if someone could chance me/offer me some advice! am i in over my head? are my expectations too high? thanks!

I think there’s no responses because normally these posts are supposed to be more brief haha
Honestly, I don’t think I can accurately chance you because it doesn’t sound like 4 honors courses and 1 AP is a lot to me, but it may be at your school. Also, you’re in a lot of extra curriculars but colleges won’t care unless you prove that you are SUPER involved in them. If all you do is go to meetings, they aren’t going to help you. The only school I’m very familiar with on your list is Villanova and I think you could get in there, but again you need to make yourself stand out by having quality in your extra curriculars and not just quantity. Best of luck!

haha whoops! i can’t edit it anymore because i edited it too many times already :frowning: i definitely can prove on my apps that i am super involved in lots of my extracurricular activities. thank you for your honesty and i appreciate your advice!

Well that’s good! You’re welcome!

any more feedback? please chance me!
