I just recently turned in my application back in November 2011 to try and transfer from a CCC to UCLA and Berkeley. This is my second year at the CCC and I will have completed TAP and IGETC certifications.

Major: English

Colleges applied: UCLA and Berkeley

College GPA: 3.82 when turned in application

Certifications: TAP and IGETC and Honors Program Certification

Extra Curricular: English Club President, Volunteer at Children's Hospital of Orange County for 1 year, and 1 year of YMCA Elementary-level Tutor

Finished ALL pre-reqs for UCLA.

Missing 2 pre-reqs for Berkeley = Assist.org says that Berkeley requires me to have 2 Shakespeare classes that I did not do. However, my main priority is to get in to UCLA..so please let me know what you think! I know chances are getting harder, and I've seen on UCLA Transfer Admit Profiles that the GPA's are also getting competitive. I hope i get in! Thanks and good luck to you all who have also applied this past fall!!!
