Some examples are winning (or placing) in a national, or at least a state level competitions,
doing some legit research,
some prestigious programs, like RSI or TASP.
if ur good at sports, maybe making all-state? or even instrument. <— these take time though…
and such.</p>

and its good that ur school band made it to nationals, but… you know. it’d look a lot better if you made nationals by urself</p>

-berkeley (just wondering)…50 pretty formula based i dont know how UC schools work with international student tho whether its harder or easier
-stanford (just wondering)…30 they look at the student much more holistically you need great recc, ecs. and essays
