Chance me, please. D:

Well.. I have really bad stats I suppose, so here it goes. And I'm Korean-American.

GPA: 3.810 (weighted, my school doesn't do unweighted)
SAT: 1720 (I'm going to retake it in a month and I'm probably gonna get about 1900, if I'm lucky 2000)
ACT: I have to see what I get on my SATs, so if I don't do well, I'll take the ACTs in Dec.
SAT II: I think I'm going to take Math IC in November, I'll probably get around 700.

Oh, and I go to a military boarding school... (FUMA, look it up if you want)
I came here for academics because I messed up my freshmen and sophomore year in public school.

ECs:
-IDEA club (11th, 12th)
-Asian-American Club (10th grade)

AP:
-AP US History(10th grade, 3)
-AP AB Calculus (11th, didn't take AP)
This year:
-AP Bio
-AP Psych
-AP English IV
-AP US Gov

I'll be taking the AP exams for all of them.

Sports:
XC (10th)
Indoor track (11th)
I plan on doing indoor and outdoor track this year. (12th)

My school is very, very sports oriented and they don't offer many rigourous classes and good clubs. And I don't really like to play sports much. I join what I could but that's about it. I think I got recommended for NHS so I'll have to see if I get in. (I already meet all the requirements and more.)

(Super) Reach:
-JHU
Reach
-UVA
-GWU?
Regular
-UMD:CP
-UMD:BC
-Vtech

I want to go into accounting or finances btw.
If I'm missing something, please say so.

Chance me please, and I'll chance you back. And try not to be hard on me :'( I know you guys all have high standards lol.

You’re fine for UMBC. What is your SAT score out of 1600? (since UMD only looks at CR + M) Your WGPA is a little low for UMD (4.0 is average). If you’re able to get 1300/1600, then you should be fine for UMD and definitely VT. I’m assuming that you’re trying to get into Smith for UMD, so as of now that would be a little bit of a reach, but possible if you increase your SAT scores. Your chances for your reaches are slim, especially with your current SAT scores and GPA.

All right, thanks man.

I guess I just apply to UVA/JHU just for the heck of it since it’s on common application.
I’ll probably go to UMD:CP like my brother. :/

2 part SAT atm is 1230 I think. It should be a lot better when I retake my SATs this coming October. I took a lot of SAT prep. over the summer, so I got the hang of it now.
