Chance me please! ED to Northwestern WCAS

So basically, decisions come out in two weeks. I'm freaking out.

Ethnicity: Asian American
Sex: Female
School: Extremely competitive public school (last year sent 30+ kids to top 15 schools) in New Jersey

GPA: unweighted: 3.58 ( :[ ) weighted: 4.2
ACT: 30 (E:34, M:29, R:31, S: 26 (kill me), E/W: 31)

APs: Lang, Lit, Euro, US, Stat, French, Gov

All other classes were honors

ECs

-I work 3-4 days a week as a hostess at a restaurant
-I work 3 days a week as a congressional intern for my local representative
-President of 2 Prominent clubs in school
-Active member of MUN, Debate team
-Member of Fed Challenge team at school
-Played three years of field hockey (2 years varsity). Could not play senior year BC of scheduling conflicts.
-Founder and leader of a non-for-profit Chinese lion dance troupe that performs for the community/ fund raises for charities ($1500 + so far)
-I run my own online ecommerce business that sells vintage apparel and home goods (had a net revenue of $1000 within the first month)
-I write for an online fashion publication

Independent Research:

Currently working on year-long research project. It is history documentary about the Truman administration (kind of a history nerd). Had the opportunity to interview many different authors/prominent professors/historians. Planning on submitting it to the National History Day Competition.

Recs:
Teacher: Very strong, had me since I was a freshman and is now my adviser for my independent study project. We're tight.

-I also had a signed letter of recommendation from my congressman (because of my internship) as well as a letter of recommendation from a former NW graduate (very active in alumni program) who is now a professor/chairman of the engineering department at a New Jersey University.

I am the only person in my school who is EDing to NW

I might be missing some stuff. Can't function. Too nervous.

Thanks!

You certainly have good EC's and recs. ACT is slightly lacking. same goes for GPA.
If you present your EC's in a good manner and write great recs you just might make it
I would say slight reach. I know of two good friends that got in last year. They both had about 2100+ SAT's and 3.7 gpa's, but little EC's. Good luck.

Now if you wouldn't mind doing the same for me ;)

Thanks bvrian.

*Edit: I also took AP chem. Forgot to mention that. Also my ACT score is technically a 31 if you factor in my previous ACT test score.

Anyone else? 10 days left :(
