Hello everyone! I am planning on applying to nursing at a cal state in a few days when the applications open and I was wondering what my chances would be for csuf, sfsu, csulb, sdsu, and csusb.
Here are my stats:
Cal state Gpa: 3.82
SAT (new): 1190
ACT: 23
Thanks!
Your eligibility index for SAT is 4246. Your SAT score is stronger than your ACT score, so I would only submit your SAT score.
CSUF and SDSU are the only direct admit programs you are applying and their acceptances rates are less than 5% so both schools are Reaches.
For CSUF however, you can get accepted into an alternate major and then complete the Nursing school requirements and reapply at the end of your Sophomore year, so you have a good chance at an acceptance with an alternate major.
CSULB looks like High Match for Pre-Nursing
SFSU and CSUSB are Match schools for Pre-Nursing.
Good luck and if possible I would consider retaking the SAT and bumping up the score for better chances.
