<p>Well, your SAT score is good… GPA is competitive. ECs are not bad… you’re applying for Computer Engineering, (not sure if impacted), but is pretty difficult to get into in UCB, UCLA, and UCSD. Go for it. You have a decent chance.

<p>In my opinion, the only thing that could really hurt you is your ECs. There’s not an overwhelming amount of leadership stuff on there. That’s okay, I think, because your other stats make up for it. </p>
<p>Honestly, I think you’re in a good place for all of them. What will help you significantly, I think, is that you’re valedictorian. I think (especially because your in-state) you have a nice chance into getting into all of them. </p>
<p>Why are you guys saying UCLA and Berkeley are reaches? He is on target SAT for both schools and a great GPA; jesus, give him some credit. I think you have as good of a chance as anybody.</p>
