Hey so here's the schools I'm looking at in order of desire:
UW-Madison, UIUC, UConn, Penn State University Park

Gpa/class rank: 3.5/ top25% at a pretty competitive school in Connecticut

Test Scores:
Sat: 1890 (600v,650m,640w) likely taking again in October
Act: taking in sept/oct

Classes: Not too rigorous with mostly highest available level (no AP's junior year but I'm taking ap calc, physics b and world senior year)

EC's: Varsity Rowing for 3 years and 50 hrs of volunteering coaching incoming freshman to row, soccer 1 year

Other stuff:
-My dad and mom went to UW Madison (my dad got his phd in microbiology there)
-My dad is a professor at UConn so its essentially a safety
-Race: Caucasian
-Gender: Male

I know my EC's are lacking quite a bit but I really would love to attend Madison so please chance me for it. Thanks in advance!!!

Oh and I forgot to put Fordham on that list

i think you have somewhat high chance to madison since both your parents went there. i would suggest try to get more ec this summer, maybe volunteer.

please chance me

Your EC’S could be a bit better, but I think they’re fine for the schools you’re applying to. As for your SAT, I think it could be improved but overall you have great chances for all of those schools. Good luck! Speaking of chances, could you chance me for Princeton? Thanks!

I like the urgency in your title haha. You have a good shot at all of those schools.

^^Thanks. I thanks I could raise my writing and math scores to high 600’s/low 700’s but I’m pretty sure I’m maxed out on CR.

^^^I’m volunteering right now but prior to that I haven’t done any real service

You obviously will definitely get into UConn including since your in state and you dad is a professor there. Penn State is a low reach since there is a lot of applicants to that school as a safety. UW-Madison would be a reach since you OOS. And the rest of college seem pretty much good to be accepted. Just try and get a 30 and higher on ACT and 2100 or 2200 on SAT (higher would be better) and you would be good.
