<p>Depends on how good your PS is (assuming it relates to your LD) and what weight they put on it, but from where I see it, below-even odds since you’re not in-state.</p>

<p>And I love UCSD, but I wish I went to a smaller school. There are exceptions like Galderisi and such, but most of the poli professors are much more interested in research / publishing and their grad student mentees than teaching UG. Probably something that holds true for most big public schools. Something you should think about when you’re making a decision (especially if you want a masters or Phd and not a JD).</p>
