REALLY REALY WANT TO GO TO VANDERBILT IN BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING (higher acceptance rate?)
other schools:
Washington and Lee
Wake FOrest
Furman
Wofford
CLemson Honors
UGA
Georgia TEch
Lehigh
Bucknell
Maybe UVA

please chance, me, and you dont have to mention all schools, AND I WILL CHANCE BACK I PROMISE!!!!

great resume, but just a piece of advice: you may want to narrow down your list of EC’s- they seem a bit scattered with more breadth than depth. you’re 1400 sat score should certainly be high enough to get you into most of these schools.

Vandy- low reach and definitely possible ED
W&L- high match/low reach
Wake Forest- high match/low reach
Furman- probably in
Wofford- probably in
Clemson- definitely in, but dont know much about honors program
UGA- match
Georgia Tech- high match
Lehigh- match
Bucknell- low match i think?
UVA- reach

I think you pretty much have most of the colleges down…

Vanderbilt - high match / low reach
Washington & Lee - high match
Wake Forest- high match
Furman - in
Wofford - in
Clemson - in
UGA - in
Georgia Tech- high match
Lehigh- in
Bucknell- in
UVA- low reach/reach

Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/785697-what-my-chances-these-schools.html</a></p>

hey i’m confused- i already chanced you, but you chanced me three times and asked me to chance you back. and you said different chances for all of them, in–>high match–>low reach. haha what…?

im sorry i thought that my posts did not go through on your page! but i would say high match/low reach, and apply ed! good luck and thanks for chancing me!

Vanderbilt-reach
Wash& Lee-Match
Wake Forest-Match
Bucknell-safety
Don’t know about the rest

For some northern recs: Chicago has many biology internships this year, and your grades put in reach of Colombia and Cornell, and possibly Brown.

i’d say pretty good chances everywhere.
W&L high match
UVA high match to reach
everything else safeties or matches

All these seem pretty good and with a slightly higher SAT you should have a very high chance at Vandy.
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/784996-updated-list-same-kid-promise-ill-chance-back-2.html</a></p>

i think you have a good chance at all of these schools, vandy may be the toughest to get into out of all of them, but i still think you have a good chance for it. what’s your unweighted GPA though?

&it’s good to see another girl wanting to do BME at vanderbilt! haha. i remember reading on a post a whileee ago that vanderbilt likes seeing girls going into engineering so it might give us an edge

idk… honestly (if bioengineering = higher acceptance rate) i think you’re in for all of those… your drawbacks would be

 1. your SAT score (try taking ACT? i found it much easier)
 2. being below top 10th of your class. but if your school is competitive i can see this being overlooked.

other than that, you’re good.
oh! but i’m not sure about uva. apparently it’s harder to get into than what i thot :\ but yeah… so you’re def. a match for all other than vandy and uva :] (which i think are low reaches or w/e is the better form of reach)

Vandy- low reach deff ed if you love it… its a great school
W&L- high match/low reach
Wake Forest- high match
Furman- Match
Wofford- Match
Clemson- In (idk about honors program)
UGA-In
Georgia Tech- Low Match
Lehigh- High Match
Bucknell- High Match
UVA- High Match

Hi :] I would say that you have a good chance at all of the schools you mentioned, especially since you have a lot of ECs, work & learning experiences. Your schools are also pretty good, so with a decent essay & rec, you should be able to get into all of them. I agree that you should try to get a better SAT score, as that would defintiely improve your already good chances =).

Good luck!

[Chances me~](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/788509-does-usamts-medal-help.html)

You have really great stats, only thing I would say is only choose the ECs that means something to you and that you are interested in.

Vandy- high match
W&L- high match
Wake Forest- high match
Furman- low match
Wofford- low match
Clemson- In
UGA-In
Georgia Tech- in
Lehigh- match
Bucknell- match
UVA- match

Good luck!
