<p>I'm 17 this year, and I'm applying for Regular Decision.</p>

<p>I did my IGCSEs in June 2012 and got 9A*s and 1A. It's a CGPA of 42.7, average of 4.3 (weighted) 4.0 (unweighted)</p>

<p>I play the violin, and have toured with the Asian Youth Orchestra around Asia, English Schools Orchestra in London and Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra around Brisbane. </p>

<p>I've done quite a lot of community work, and raised around $3000 for an Autistic Support Centre in Malaysia, and led a charity team to donate to the flood and landslide victims.</p>

<p>I've done an internship in an accounting firm. I was also the captain of the school debate team, and I was an academic decathlon and got Academic Colours and stuff. I joined the Math Olympiad Squad as well. I also did some athletics in high school. </p>

<p>I rank second in a class of approx 80?</p>

<p>I submitted a CD recording of my violin playing too.</p>

<p>I got a 730 for my Physics SAT II and 770 for Math Level 1. The Physics is a horrendous mark, but I can't retake because I'm doing a reasoning test in Jan.</p>

<p>I'm also getting an additional recommendation by a member of the Board of Overseers</p>

<p>your IGCSEs are good, but normally (i am from Portugal, from a international school) we do them in the 9-10 grade…</p>

<p>you should be aiming towards the AICE level, it is already late for that, but try to get that diploma.</p>

<p>also i need more info from you, as schools and what courses you want to apply.</p>

<p>I can only evaluate you by your’ IGCSEs, as i am familiar with them, about other grades i am not the best person to give you a reliable statement</p>
