<p>I am an african american high school junior. My top choices are Vanderbilt and UPenn. </p>

<p>My GPA is 3.5 UW and 4.3 weighted. My PSAT scores indicate I will score around 2150 on my SATs. I am a varsity athlete, president of the human trafficking club, lacrosse team manager, and a member of several other clubs. I am active with the SGA and a member of the minority scholars program. I have received several awards for academics and won scholarship money.
I took AP us gov as a sophomore and received a 5 on my exam, and this year I am taking AP macro ad micro economics, AP psychology, AP environmental science, AP English language, AP AB calculus, and honors modern world. I have several teachers who will write me outstanding recommendations and my counselor will too. My school doesn't rank but I know I am in the top 25% at least.

<p>Keep up the clubs you do and study really hard in general. The GPA is a little tho but im sure you have time to get it up to a 3.7-3.8. Also prep hard for the SAT and hopefully score above 2250. All those stats and URM would put you in a pretty good position for Penn and a great position for vandy.

<p>You need really work hard and get your GPA improved… Also increase your SAT scores and you should be good to go! :slight_smile:
Oh and dont forget to give good essays…</p>
