Can someone also tell me the ED acceptance rate to the different schools ( Wharton, CAS, SEAS, etc.)?

You’re qualified but it’s a numbers game - more qualified students apply than there are positions.

I don’t think the ED acceptance rate is broken down by school. It’s offer 20% overall but I forget the exact number.

Yeah I’d definitely say you’re definitely qualified with regards to your numbers. Looking at your extracurriculars, you come off as a bit “cookie-cutter,” although USABO and research definitely look impressive. Of course, I’m sure you didn’t list all of your activities and I’m sure you have more behind what you’ve told us. I definitely expect that you’ll be accepted but it’s impossible to say that you’re a “match” because of how competitive it is.

As mentioned above the acceptance rate is ~20% overall. The acceptance rate does vary slightly by school but not enough to make enough of a difference. You’re definitely encouraged to apply to the school that best “fits” you so that you’ll appear more impressive to the particular school.

Chance back?
Good luck!

@Madaboutx Thanks. It said the ED acceptance rate was 25% overall. Do you know if SEAS would be slightly higher or lower?

@oboron42 Yeah I didn’t list all my EC’s. Do you how many is the recommended amount? I thought it was like 3-5 max.

Well you have 10 spots for activities on the common app. Using up all of them is probably a good idea. Of course, the activities section can hold more than just clubs and what not. You’re probably set

@oboron42 Are you sure it doesn’t make me look bad if I use up all 10 spots on the common app? Some people say it makes you like uncommitted.

I guess it would depend on what you put as your activities. If a few activities fit a common theme it might look like you’re actually even more dedicated to that area.
