Hey so I'm a freshman applying for sophomore year at blair, loomis, hotchkiss, and some other places. Please suggest any that you think I may have a chance of getting into! I'm looking for lots of positive feedback because the last time I asked people to chance me nobody really thought I had a great chance at the schools I was applying to, which was pretty depressing. hah.
here we go:

For athletics, I've played tennis for five years, and field hockey for two years. I was co-captain for the field hockey team in middle school. I really want to go to boarding school so i can pursue field hockey mainly and also try out new sports that aren't available at my school, like lacrosse.

I've played the flute for six years, and I was always the top student in my class. I am very passionate about playing music.
I love photography, I do digital photography as a hobby, and I am also taking a black and white film photography class. I also have a private teacher for drawing.

I have also joined my school's magazine publication and I write an article for every issue that comes out.

For community service, I've been part of a program that allows you to travel to places to help the unfortunate in Asia. In 6th grade I went to beijing, in 7th grade I went to North Sichuan, and in 8th grade I went to fuxing, Taiwan. In all of these trips I helped teach at local schools and farms. This year, I went to the slums in Bacolod, Philippines, to help build a draining system to help prevent flood damage, and teach small kids. At school, I joined Support Africa, a fundraising community service club, as well as Service on Saturdays.

Last year I won the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence for having one of the highest average GPA's for my middle school years. I've also achieved honor roll for every semester it was given out.

I haven't taken the real SSAT yet, but I took a practice test and scored around 85%. I hope that doesn't bring me down too much. I've been getting all A's ever since 6th grade except for a few Bs that managed to slip in...

I'm looking for a school that I will be able to stand out in, but not be bored at. I love challenges and going to boarding school will make me a more independent and responsible person. I think I would benefit at a boarding school because of all their resources that I can take advantage of.

Please give positive feed back / some suggestions! Thanks!
