<p>I'm currently a freshman at Pitt, in the business school and honors college</p>

<p>HS Stats:
GPA: 3.0 UW 3.4W (very low I know) all gifted/AP classes though.
SAT 1: 1920
SAT 2: none
College stats:
1st semetser: 3.54
2nd semester: looks to be higher with tougher classes including a senior year class</p>

<p>EC: 400 hours of tutoring HS students in math
120 hours of mentoring HS kids
Phi eta sigma honor society member
member of NCSC
internship at a top 10 us hospital
exec administrator at an apparel and accessories company
-have made the company over 120,000 in profit </p>

<p>Recs: macroeconomics honors professor & the CEO of the company I work at</p>

<p>Only college I applied to: Penn (wharton)
I was planning on applying to more, but I didn't take the SAT 2s so that will probably ruin any chances. If there's still some colleges I could apply to please let me know. I'm a finance major minoring in econ so any business schools would be great. If I dont make it this year I'll retry next year when HS stats wont hurt me anymore.</p>

<p>That's the thing, i have no idea. I'm hoping they see I'm more than just books. The CEO wrote an amazing essay. He actually let me skim over it for a second. I also hope my work for his company plus all those hours I tutored/mentored will help.</p>

<p>EDIT: I forgot to add, I've lvied in the US for a while but I'm labeled an int'l student b/c i have a canadian citizenship and no greencard.</p>
