About me: 22. Hispanic on paper (really white and Mexican). First generation college student. Low income (family makes less than $45k per year in Silicon Valley). I work in IT at a major tech company and attend school full-time.
Major: Political Science
Current UC GPA: 3.35
Overall: 3.43
I’m getting all A’s right now during this Fall semester so my UC GPA should move up to 3.44.
Applying to UCLA, UC Berkeley, Stanford, USC, UCSB (TAG sumbitted for UCSB).

By the way, I am inside UC Berkeley’s TAP program.
You need to lower your expectation significantly!
Consider low tier UCs as possibility.

Just thought I’d close this up with my results this past transfer season.
Applied: UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Barbara, UC Irvine, UC Santa Cruz, UC Davis, Cal Poly SLO, San Jose State, Columbia University.
Accepted: All but UCLA.
