Chance me please! UCLA, USC, SLO, UCSB, UCI, Villanova, Benedictine, NAU Mech Engineering

Hey all,
I’m now a senior and I’m curious about my chances for mechanical engineering at the universities listed above, top 3 being UCLA, USC, and Villanova.

UC GPA: 3.88 UW, 4.38 W (uncapped), 4.21 W (capped)
Normal GPA: 3.91 UW, 4.28 W

SAT: 1430 (I’ve only taken it once, I’m working on getting it to 1530 plus)
SAT II: Math level 2: To arrive on the 11th, Physics: I’m currently self-learning this bad boy

AP Scholar with Honors (all 4s on all 4 AP’s I’ve taken: World History, Physics 1, APUSH, English Language and Composition) Note: My school is extremely restrictive with how many AP’s we can take and how much we accelerate in math.

Internships:
I had one paid internship my previous summer with ONR SEAP at Point Loma in San Diego, a highly competitive research internship with the Dept. of Naval Research. We did some basic research assigned to us and gave a presentation on it to the engineers on site.

Extracurricular Activities:
I help out a TON at my Church through altar serving, youth ministry leadership team, … (gotta round up all of the hours still)
Boy Scouts (working on Eagle)
Varsity Tennis (lettered since Frosh year)
XC (for running fitness as I hope to get an NROTC Marine Option scholarship)
Mission trip to Guatemala with Campus Ministry at my school (don’t feel like elaborating atm)
I’m sure there are more I can’t think of at the top of my head, so I’ll leave those at that.

Anyway, I am hoping to absolutely knock the UC essays and the Common App out of the park so I have the best chances possible at these universities, feedback on how to maximize my chances any further would be much appreciated. I will add stuff as I remember it.

You are a competitive applicant. Your stats and ECs are decent. Write amazing essays, apply ED to a place you like, and you could get accepted to any of these schools
