Chance me please. UCSD is my dream college!

Hey. I attend a high school which is ranked within top 5 public schools of the nation. Highly competetive. School where there are about 25 valedictorians each year.
My gpa dropped, but my courseload did get harder. Sat score is on the lower side, but did better on subject tests. Reeeaally want to go to sd. I applied undecided.

You definitely have a chance, unless you’re going into medicine. Since you’re not, it might be a bit of a reach with your SAT score (avg is about 2000) but you have a lot of EC. As long as your essays were strong, I think you definitely have a chance!

It doesn’t matter what major you apply for or what intended career path is. Those do not affect one’s chances at admission into UCSD.

you got a chance. But applying for the major like a science major is harder to get into compared to economics. With the UC system you will never know accurately if you get in or not.

That is NOT true. Your chances of getting into the university are the same regardless of what major you apply to.
