Chance me please? UNC-Chapel Hill and NYU

<p>Alright, so I applied to Chapel Hill on EA and NYU only had ED so I just did regular.
So here are my stats:
UWGPA: 3.7
WGPA: 4.22
SAT: 1860
ACT:29
Senior year APs- 6 (CalcBC, Government, Microeconomics, chemistry, psychology, lit)
Total APs- 11 (bio, calcAB, stat, U.S. History, English Language)
AP Scores (so far): One 4 and two 3's</p>

<p>Extra curriculars
Junior class president
Senior class president
NHS member/3 years
250+ volunteer hours
Regular hospital volunteer
Vocal events through school
Tri-M Honor Society</p>

<p>And that's all I can think of. I really want to get into Chapel Hill but I'm not sure this is good enough to get me in, let alone a scholarship.</p>

<p>UNC: Match (in-state)/Reach (out-of-state; you may as well be applying at Duke if you were an out-of-stater with respect to UNC)
NYU: Match</p>

<p>Thanks! =) I am out of state for both schools. Someone had mentioned Duke if I’m applying to UNC anyways but I feel like it’s a huge reach.</p>

<p>UNC is a reach. OOS is extremely competitive. </p>

<p>New york is a high match, depending on what major you’re applying for. For example, Stern is a reach.</p>

<p>Your ECs are OK. I personally think UNC would be a high match to low reach if you are able to write a good enough essay. </p>

NYU- low reach… i live in nyc, maybe like 10 minutes from nyu, i know for a fact they are LOVE high SAT scores. yours is a bit low but your ECs would most likely get you in.</p>
