Chance me Please? Will chance back...

GPA: 3.1 (at first-tier boarding school, very challenging schedule)

SAT: 800 CR 740 M 720 W (Faulknerian style apparently doesn't work for those Fitzgerald graders) = 2260

ECs: Young Republicans (head), Film Production Club (head), Satire Publication (editor), Science Publication (writer), Political Union, Choir, acted in 2 plays, active in church and Teen Court (sentences high schoolers convicted of misdemeanors and allows them to have their records expunged after a probationary period)

APs: Modern Euro 5, US History 5, English Lit 5, English Comp 5, US Gov 5, Chemistry 5, Calculus BC 3, French Language 4

Essays: Very good. My college counselor said I was one of the few he wasn't worried about as far as writing.

SAT II - US History 800, Chem 780, Math II 740, World History 760, English Lit 800

Awards - National Merit Semifinalist, School Poetry Award

Note - School doesn't weight courses or provide a class rank, but I would probably be around 60% in the class, but have taken one of the hardest schedules in the school. I don't put a lot of weight in the grades I get out of classes, but want to challenge myself and take courses which interest me. I am in an honors course, 2 post-AP courses, and an AP course right now.

Recs - Will be honest. They'll be a mixture of negative and positive. I haven't had the easiest high school experience, and its showed. I'm horribly disorganized and procrastinate, but they've told me that I have a lot of natural writing skill and really care about pure learning and am an essentially good person.

I want to be an English major for certain, and hopefully double major with either math, history, or linguistics, and pick up a minor or two depending on the school. I figured out that at Lawrence it would be possible to be a triple major with two minors. Sounds like fun to me.
