Publish Speaking

If I bust out all A's this semester I'll have a 3.4 when I leave my CC.

I'm also having a letter of reccomendation wrote from my boss who is a Clemson Alumni. I'm also a legacy at Clemson (Father class of 84').

I’ll also add that my intended major at Clemson is Packaging Science, and intended major at USC is Retail Management.

Your GPA isn’t very competitive and the classes you have taken aren’t very challenging. I don’t believe that South Carolina is very tough to get into so I think you have a chance there. A bit tough for clemson.

That’s what I was afraid of, and I’ve talked to mutiple people who transfered in with a 2.7. The only difference was they had about 30 more credit hours than me. I’ve heard Clemson was big on legacy, does this put me at an advantage also?

I actually know two twins that graduated high school this year that got accepted to Clemson with a 850 on their SATs and a sub-par gpa. They were legacys.

Yes but your grades matter much more than the fact that your father went there many years ago. You never know what’s going to happen. Just apply and see.

Oh I agree 100%. I applied last week and spoke with admissions today. Basically when they recieve my transcripts from my previous semesters they send me a letter telling me what else they need and will make there decision in December.

As for South Carolina, I actually sent a letter to get enrolled in the bridge program for this semester. If I get acceptance into the bridge program, all I have to do is send my midterm grades in october and theyll make there decision then.
