Chance me please!

ACT- 29

GPA- 3.85 w, 3.44 w (I have taken the absolute hardest classes I can take and I go to the most respected school in my state!)

4 APs
Euro/American- 3
Eng lang.- 4
Gov-in it now

National Honor Society

Spanish Club

Varsity wrestling (best team in the state, nationally ranked team)

school spirit club

60 community service hours

financial planning internship (desired major is business, I know I'm not getting in preferred admit you dont need to tell me, or economics)

Letters of Rec.- Absolutely kick ass!

Essays- talked about work ethic in wrestling and how it translates to school, talked about how I took a risk with my grades and how they aren't representative of my intelligence, I wrote about being a first gen. college student and how I don't take it lightly (I really don't, it's really a cool thing to see that I have an opportunity my parents didn't have), and for my last one I talked about how great my internship was, I loved it and I did exceptionally well in it. I also talked about trading my own money in the stock market.

Me- White, male, Catholic, private school.
Parents- Married, White, no college, wealthy (not billionaries, but no need based financial aid)

Please chance me. I'm worried about my GPA, I feel that my ecs, and the rest of my app (even though the ACT could be higher) are good.

Thanks, if you want me to chance back, I will.

Try to get the ACT up to a 30 and do well through senior year to at least show an upward trend in GPA. You’re in good shape though. Don’t stress it!

It is a 30 superscored even though they don’t superscore it.

Right which is why that’s irrelevant. 30 is kind of a benchmark, so it’d be great if you could get your ACT up to that. A lot of my classmates who had 29 and below last year got deferred. Some got accepted in the coming weeks.
