<p>I am from California….</p>

<p>And my weighted GPA is a 4.2, unweighted, is 3.97.</p>

<p>My SATS were bad..1760</p>

<p>I have taken AP Stats, AP English Lit, AP Psych<br>
(my school is limited on the amount of APs offered, and limits how many APs a student can take in a year, and they are only offered to juniors and seniors)
I have taken honors English, History and Math courses.</p>

<p>I have over 200 hours of community service (A total of 4 mission trips to Kentucky and Mexico).</p>

<p>I am a NHS and CSF member.
I did FBLA
I am the founder and President of my school's fashion club.(since sophomore year)
I have been a class officer for 3 years.
I played tennis and soccer.
I was a science camp counselor last year
I have been a tutor for two years.
I am currently a nanny during the week.
I was an intern at a high-end clothing store my sophomore year
And, and intern at Nordstrom as part of the BP Fashion Board.(junior year)</p>

<p>For the activities list i wrote about Fashion club, Tennis, class officers, and my internship.</p>

<p>For the essays I wrote about how a trip to Paris influenced me and opened my eyes to the rest of the world…but that's the simplified explanation it! (Personal statement)
And for the short essay I wrote about a mission trip to Kentucky and the harsh realities of the shattered American dream.</p>

<p>Although your SAT isn’t strong, it isn’t <em>that</em> bad either. I think that the rest of your application is great, and that you shouldn’t be too worried.</p>

<p>Also, competition for out of state slots isn’t as tight as in state slots, so that’s another plus.</p>

<p>Good chance. UW loves out of state students and its not terribly competitive anyways so you should be fine.</p>

<p>UW loves out of state students that don’t need financial aid…if you got $$$ you’re probably good</p>
