<p>GPA: 3.69 cumulative
SAT: It's pretty low...1680 (510 CR/580 M/630 W - those are my best sub scores)
Current Classes: AP Eng 4, AP Euro, Physics, Psychology, Visual Communications 2, Pre-Calc honors.</p>

<p>ExtraCurric.
- 4 years tennis (2 jv/2 varsity)
- Key Club (2 years)
- NHS (2 years)
- Violin Lessons (since 4th grade)
- Tutoring (3 years)
- French Club (3 years)
Personal Statement:
I talked about my dad's bypass surgery that happened when I was in 8th grade and how it really forced me to become the man of the house and learn responsibilities to take care of my sister and my mom while my dad was recovering.</p>

<p>Short Response:
I talked about how I was born in a foreign country but raised in the US and how my ability to adapt to different cultures can contribute to UW's diversity.</p>

<p>I am also an instate student, if that helps...does it really? Or do they want more OOS students because it brings in more money. I am pretty worried right now because my sister graduated from UW Seattle and I really want to go there too! Best school in Washington in my opinion.</p>

<p>I think I read somewhere that the really competitive pool is the international one. domestic students, both IS and OOS have similar statistics and acceptance rates. I do have a few questions though, that hopefully someone will be able to answer: do none of the bad applicants that they turn down without a second thought come on CC? and what percent of applicants are totally unqualified to go to UW? just a couple thoughts.</p>

<p>i’m applying as well, so i haven’t been through the admissions process, but i would guess 55-65 percent. Once again, don’t take my word for it, I could be totally off.</p>
