<p>Well I think you actually have a pretty good chance of getting in, but a thing that may make or break it is your essay. I hope you included something about your gpa being so low freshman year.</p>
<p>I’m sure you’ll get in with the grades/SAT you have, but if your high school is that great then you didn’t do so hot in my opinion because colleges can see your high school’s scores in a local context. I spoke to my admissions counselor a lot at college fairs and he said local context from my high school was important in making decisions from where I was from (Southern California). But I’m sure they won’t read into it too much with your scores since they are generally better than the average at AU. Since you have an upward trend in GPA I’d say it all works out.
