Chance Me please?

Hello, I know admissions are coming out fairly soon but I'm starting to get extremely nervous. Grinnell wasn't one of my top schools when I applied but now it's become one of my favorites and I really want to get in. My ACT is 29 (a bit low... I know).

I go to a New England boarding school where there are no GPAs, rankings, or APs but I calculated what my school says would be my unweighted GPA for college purposes only and got 3.86. But I've been taking Honors level courses whenever I can (since sophomore year). My senior year classes are Calculus AB, German 4 Honors, Marine Biology (an Advanced/Honors Biology course), AP art (one of the only APs), and several high-level, focused English/Humanities courses (term-long so I'll have taken 3 by graduation).

Can anyone give me an idea on what my chances are? Please and thank you!

I know this isn’t what you want to hear, but no one knows. Grinnell admissions are facing a unique challenge since applications went up so much this year. We can’t tell you how much harder it’s going to be to get in this year. The only real way to predict admissions and give chances is to look at previous years, but Grinnell has never had a previous year like this. All I can tell you is that your stats fit pretty closely with the average student studying here right now, which means your chances certainly aren’t zero.
