Chance me please?

I’m applying to the University of Alabama. I am a senior attending a Florida high school.

GPA- 3.3 UW, 3.6 Weighted (Maybe)

SAT- 1620 (530 CR, 470 Math, 620 WR)

ACT- 20 (retaking in September)

As an underclassmen (Freshman, Sophomore) in Texas, I attended a Dual Credit Institution and was able to collect 12 hours of college credit. All of my courses were either Honors or Dual Credit.

Junior Year: AP English, AP Psychology, AICE US History

Senior Year: Honors Astronomy, Honors Trig, AICE Sociology, AP Human Geography, AP Gov/Econ

My Weighted GPA should rise as a result of my senior workload.

EC’s include marching band all 4 years of high school, chemistry club, library volunteer, and church volunteer. I am also on Leadership for band.

Thank you for your consideration.

You should get in with no problem ! The ACT is 1 point lower than they recommend but the rigor of your courses should make up for that .

Try and raise your ACT score and you’re pretty much in! Aim for around a 24+so that you can be a definite!
Best of luck.

Your GPA is likely going to get you in if you apply soon. Retake the SAT and try to raise your Math score.
