UW-Madison
I'm a white female from Wisconsin (obviously instate)
4.00 UW GPA.
School ranks by GPA, doesn't weight, and allows ties so I'm 1 out of 300.
4 APs so far...(5,5,5,4)
4 more senior year...

ECs:
Freshman:
Culinary Club

Sophomore:
Key Club
Spanish Club

Junior:
Political Debate
Mock Trial
DECA (State and International Career Development Conference Qualifier)

Senior Year:
Same as Junior year.

I can write a decent essay (although the prompts are stupid).

Could you chance me with both a 30 ACT and a 33 ACT?

Where are you applying? Try to get a higher ACT score. Though they may be optional, colleges never find a lack of SAT scores impressive. That aside, I suppose you have a chance anywhere.

I’ve been studying like crazy all summer for SAT/ACT.

I thought about applying to more elite schools but they’re pretty expensive and I have an EFC of $75,000 (I have no idea how this happened) and that means no aid and around a quarter of a million dollars after four years…IF I could get in.

For the EC’s, I would have stuck to a club throughout the whole 4 years, but it’s good you’re continuing the same ones from your Junior year to your Senior year.

Volunteer experience would probably help. Get on the good sides of your teachers next year if you haven’t in junior year, also search for recs in other places. Gl!

I asked my teachers for LORs at the end of junior year. Both teachers I have great relationships with and have seen by progression through freshman year. I also have a good relationship with my guidance counselor.
