I am black/asian from out of state. I have a 33 on the ACT and a 3.4 UW GPA, but 4.14 W. I'm in the IB program, and have taken the highest course rigor available at my school. My essays and recommendation letters are very strong, and I know that they will undoubtedly help me. For extracurriculars, I have 4 years of playing tennis, 3 years varsity, as well as attending the state competition. I am also a DECA State Officer, in a state which have over 8,000 members. I also started my own Non-Profit Organization, that spreads Indian dance and culture. I have raised over $15,000 for female empowerment. I am a 4 year and varsity member of Speech and Debate and Model UN at my school, and I have won multiple awards at conferences for both. I am also a member of NHS and a club called Students Advocating Change, which educates the school about global issues and then raises funds for these issues. I have also been the president for 4 years of the youth committee of a cultural association in my state, which has helped host multiple events. I have also volunteered in India and Africa and have accumulated 160 hours between the two. Finally, I started a chess club at the local middle school.

If somebody could please chance me I'd be very appreciative, if anybody wants my opinion, feel free to ask I'd be more than happy to help, thank you!

Thanks again!

Great ACT scores and ECs but what I’m afraid of is your GPA weighted and Unweighted (more important). The IB program looks great for you but most schools you listed are a little below Ivie league such as UCLA and Standford and Berkeley, they want both High GPA and scores. In my personal opinion, I would say limit the number of schools your applying too, so you can focus on the schools you really want to get into during EA, have like 1 or 2 safety schools inside of that list too. I say you get into 25%-50% of the schools you listed although you have average chance to get into the others! Best of luck! :slight_smile: Chance me too!

Strong ACT Scores. GPA is a bit low, but nothing you can do about that. Your ECs are very strong so good essays about them will really push you over the top, in my opinion.

Gtech, UIUC, UCSD, and UT Austin should be matches
UCB, UCLA --> low reach
Rest are all reach, in my opinion.

Good luck!
