Chance me please? :)

Hey everyone,

High school senior (obviously) with a starting year GPA of 3.7.
Intended Major: Animal Science
I took a Veterinary Science course at a technical school my Junior year that replaced all my electives for the year.
SAT: 1680; math: 490 (I know it’s low), Writing: 600, Reading: 590.
ACT: 24 cumulative. Math: 22, English: 25 others don’t really matter.
Current APs: Biology, Statistics. Past APs: US History (3), English Language & Composition (3)
Currently in a duel-enrollment English class worth 6 credits.
I am a very active member of 4H (13 years), have been in theatre for 4 years, SCA for 3 and in multiple honor societies.
I wrote 2 personal statements but added a lot of detail into my activity descriptions. I applied ED but got deffered.

50/50. Basing this on the Fall 2014 VT Animal Science specific admission data…The mean GPA for the Fall 2014 students is 4.0 and Math/Verbal SAT of 585 both. VT is a very statistic driven admission school with a much lower weight on EC’s, personal statements, etc. Also, they like to see Calculus and Physics if available. All the above still depends on other factors such as in/out of state, grading scale, etc. Fingers crossed for you.
