Chance me please? :)

I’m a junior at a public HS (pretty competitive) in Pennsylvania. As a junior, I’m surrounded by college chatter all day, every day, and I’m starting to become nervous.
Here are my stats:
GPA 3.7 UW/4.2 W
PSAT: 2020, 1350 CR + M (I’ve been studying a lot so hopefully 2100+)
ACT: 30 first sitting, 32s and 33s on practice tests (retaking in april)
AP Tests: Euro (3)… I was an unmotivated sophomore :frowning:
Courseload:
Freshman-
Stuff. No APs, only UW GPA. 3.69

Honors Bio, B
Honors Eng, A-
Spanish, B+

Other stuff that I forget

ECs:
President of club, positions in other clubs, varsity XC and track, NHS, volunteering (idk how much), pre-collegiate programs, blah blah blah etc

Honors:
Hopefully AP Scholar
NMS Commended I think (does this matter at all?)
Essay competitions

Other:
I can write a pretty good college essay (have practiced)
My guidance counselor loves me. A lot.
I’ve been through a ton in the past couple of years, missed a lot of school, admitted to hospital (will probably put in “additional info” section, maybe/maybe not essay)
High income

Do I have a chance at GW? If I have a chance, is it enough for a scholarship? I don’t need one, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt
My intended major is econ/public health double i think

Everything looks good and you seem to be on track as a strong future applicant. Keep plugging away at the studies and good luck on those test retakes.

As far as a scholarship, I can’t really say. The only ones I know much about are those for financially needy and military veterans. Since you’re neither, a merit scholarship would be most likely but I don’t know how GW assigns them.

Good luck!

I say you have a pretty good chance for GW from my limited knowledge of the university

i think you’ll be a pretty competitive applicant. keep adding ecs, especially leadership.

@patriot420 here is the link to my stats (I would say they are somewhat similar to yours) I was admitted ED2 and demonstrated a lot of interest interest in the university (touring, good “why GW essay”, and binding ED application).
