GPA UW 3.33/4.1W :(( constant trend throughout, the reason for which my GPA isn’t higher was in part because I had a challenging course load, along with other activities that required commitment.

Calm down. Based on your responses, you are responsible for many of those views yourself . But I’ll help you out with BU, BC, NYU, and GWU because those are the ones I am most familiar with. Unfortunately, your grades (while your course load seems decent) are poor in comparison to those accepted to these universities. Work your senior year to bring them up as much as possible. Your SAT is on par for BU and above for GWU, but I would say if you are taking it again, try to bring it up around 50+ points for BC and NYU to be more competitive. Your subject tests are fine. Your class rank is fine, and your volunteering seems okay. Your big weakness is in extracurriculars. You have absolutely nothing to show for your interest in business/economics (or do you and you just haven’t mentioned it), and I don’t see that you have any leadership roles, which may hurt you. Since your ec’s overall seem to be lacking, try to sell yourself as best you can on those and write fantastic essays, and if you are lucky, that may compensate. As for your individual chances: BU (Questrom School of Business I imagine) - low reach, BC (Carroll School of Management I imagine) - Low/normal reach, NYU (good choice on doing CAS; word of advice, they give terrible financial aid, so if that is important just note that) - Low/Normal Reach, GWU - High match. Please chance me back! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1796275-what-do-you-think-of-my-chances-are-at-these-universities.html#latest Good luck!
your grades are not great, but with your course load i don’t think that would be much of a problem on paper. btw don’t assume what you think you are going to get on a SAT subject test because in my experience that just leads you to either underestimate yourself or get your hopes up over nothing. though your extracurriculars are common but your volunteering experience is off the charts, if i were you i would definitely use the teaching in a foreign country in one of my essays. best of luck
