I’m applying to UCLA UCB UCSD UCI
Major: applied math
GPA: 3.87 (15 A’s and 2 B’s semester units)
IGETC: will be done in spring
Pre-req: will be done in spring
PS and EC: mediocre I would give a 5/10
I am so worried right now because I have not finished the two required English classes.
I will definitely finish them in winter and spring.
I would appreciate any adivce
Since the UCs won’t see any English courses on your app, you may get a conditional acceptance. Work with someone to write your PSs for a better chance.
Hoo boy, I agree with @happy2help. It would have been better if at least one English was completed. At least you have a high GPA. The winter grades come out after the January TAU. You can still update on the TAU after January, although you also need to email each of the four UCs and let them know the grades for any winter English or math course. Be sure to do that. They don’t calculate the winter GPA into their admissions’ analysis, but usually will take it into consideration.
