Chance me please!

Hello everyone, I´m an International Student with a very low GPA, but very good EC´S. I wanted to know my chances and if Kelley looks at EC.

GPA: 2.9-4 UNWEIGHTED

IB: expected 26

SAT: 1700

EC:

  • I was in the student council as secretary when I was junior. Then I became president as a Senior.
  • CAS: constructing houses for low income people,
  • Leadership Courses (JQM)
  • As the President of my school I introduced the MUN program.
  • For the municipal elections during this year in Paraguay I developed an application called DemocApp. In this application which was available for Android we worked with an ONG which had the information about the candidates about their proposals, ideas, and opinions about certain topics. It also covered the information about every congressman in Paraguay and had the publications of every Ministry with their budget and expenses. Until now DemocApp had 1000 downloads and I was on TV and radios.

I consider me as a very active person which wants to make a better country for my community.

I know my GPA is really low, but do you think that I got chances?

You may be admitted to IU, but you will not be admitted to Kelly as they have strict prerequisite grades and scores. If you go to IU and do well, you can apply to Kelly later.

It depends on your weighted GPA. If it is pretty significantly higher, you might have some chance, but I wouldn’t count on it. Your only goal should be to get into IU. Kelley will never offer direct admission with those stats

Again. A Kelley degree. Lower admittance criteria with higher dropout rate.

Same placement rate. And a cool urban location.
