None unless you get that math and reading SAT score up. Otherwise it is Hofstra for you!
You are certainly a very strong candidate for most ( or all) schools. OOS acceptance is very unpredictable however I think your chances are excellent. Good luck!
You have as best chances as it gets; however, OOS is tough and random. I wouldn’t be surprised if you get in. I also wouldn’t be surprised if you don’t get in.
You are definitely a shoo-in for acceptance. I hope to meet you next year!
@mannylopez123 yes!! I hope I get in
Don’t see how this is a joke. A 2350-applicant definitely has decent chances
@prayforthebest I really hope I get in I hope I’m good enough !! UNC is my dream school
@eagle2426 be more confident and I’m not really talking about confidence. You have to know who you are and where you’re at. I think you are at a level way higher than UNC. I won’t be surprised at all if you get into an Ivy. I just got accepted by UNC as an international student from China. Maybe our ECs are on the same level, but I only have a 2250 SAT with only 700 on reading. OOS admission is not all that difficult.
HOWEVER, I wouldn’t be surprised either if you are rejected. You definitely can get rejected due to over qualification. The school might think that even if they admit you, you wouldn’t come because you can probably get accepted by a more powerful school. So they’d rather reserve the spot for another person who is more likely to come to their school. So don’t think you are not good enough if UNC rejects you.
So my main point is, don’t underestimate yourself. UNC is your target/match school instead of your dream/reach (unless you have personal connections with UNC). Your dream should be at the level of an Ivy League. With good enough essays and rec, you should be fine. good luck
@prayforthebest OH MY GOD UR SO SWEET !!! I HOPE U HAVE FUN IN COLLEGE TOO !!!
