Lots of EC:
Mission trip to Montana to serve the poor for a week, doing same thing but to Arizona next week.
Been involved with my church for years
Confirmation leader
Volunteered at a sports camp for 3 years as a counselor
Overall around 180+ of volunteer hours

Will have very good letters of rec as well.

Getting into Ross would be the goal.
I know my ACT is a bit low I believe, but standardized tests are not my strength. We will see if I did better on SAT though.

Thanks!

I would guess you have a good chance although the 29 is pretty low especially for oos… And being Hispanic doesn’t help you at umich they are not allowed to look at race (although for some people they can tell by your name)

Which state are you from? I think that can make a big difference.

@michmaybe i def have a recognizable name
@yikesyikesyikes California

@michmaybe i also agree 29 is pretty low, that’s why I am hoping for a higher SAT score when those get released in a month or so

Also if you come from a top high school your high gpa will help a lot more

You will definitely need higher standardized test scores, so put a lot of time and effort into those. Look into subject tests as well. Also, apply early!

apply early! and definitely get the act up
