I forgot to mention that I will be applying out of state for all and will not be applying for financial aid.
Consider UCLA/UCB Reach schools due to their competitiveness and low acceptance rate but they are possible. Your test scores are very good, weighted UC GPA is within range, UC capped weighted a bit low but great HS course rigor. You have very diverse EC’s which makes you an interesting applicant.
UCD and UCSB are Match to High Match schools just due how competitive Engineering admission can be at the UC’s.
write some great essays to bump up your chances.
Freshman admit rates (2016) for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19(capped weighted) and not major specific:
UCB: 14%
UCLA: 14%
UCSD: 44%
UCSB: 54%
UCD: 58%
UCI: 65%
UCSC: 85%
UCR: 94%
UCM: 96%
Best of luck and make sure the UC’s are affordable if you are not a CA resident.
