I am afraid the low SAT will hurt me the most. Do I have a chance with such a low score?
@LivD99 I think your GPA is great. SAT a little low but most schools value the 3 plus years and how hard you worked versus a stand alone test! Your EC’s are as good as they come. I know this first hand as my child got into Georgia with a 1300 and there were at least 50 kids on College Confidential that got deferred with 1400’s plus! but they didn’t have a 3.96 UW GPA like my child… Class GPA and rigor trump it all. when most people talk about kids not getting into schools they always reference the SAT/ACT. very infrequently do they talk about their grades!! thats the other half of the story!
