UCB/UCLA: Match
UCSD: Safe Match

Don't know much about many of your westcoast schools, but even with that steller profile, other than Rochester which is a match, the east coast schools are all reaches. Colby is a good bet since you do have the geographics but they will have to be sure that you are serious. Williams, Wash U, Wesleyan, Pomona and Haverford are all tough goes even with a terrific writing hook like you have. I have seen kids from our school with similar profiles and it is a tough go to get into any of those schools without higher test scores or some hook. That you are from CA will help, and if your private school does alot with these schools, it may change the picture since you are at the top of the class. Does your school have a lot of kids going to these east coast LACs/ That could make the difference as top of the class at a known private does carry lots of weight. I hope you do come east; as I think you have a lot to offer these schools with your resume. I am basing this more on numbers than on a holistic judgement (mine, of course). Let us know how ED goes for you.

thanks for the advice cptofthehouse... bump...

i think you could get in almost anywhere to tell you the truth... top of your class.. minority.. nice EC's.. good SAT's.. just reach for the stars man

thanks for the support doctorsboy... the thing i'm worried about is that, although i'm a "minority," i'm an over-represented minority (by Indian, I meant my parents are from the country India, not Native American)... and although I'M happy wiht my SATs, i feel like every other asian person has a 2400... alfkdjs ljksafd... does anyone think that being asian and heavily involved in theatre will help? because, i don't think there are many asians who are into theatre (although many are superfantastic musicians...)

anyone else please?? i'm really freaking out..

Bump......
