CMU (i think they offer sciences)
DUQUESNE UNIVERSITY (maybe)
Drexel University
Temple University (maybe)
Brown, probably just like that to see if i'd get in hah, i doubt it though</p>

<p>uw gpa: 3.8
w gpa: 4.57 (loaded on honors and ap classes)
class rank: 2/439</p>

<p>SAT: 1350/2010 [yes i suck at the SATs]
SAT II Bio: an "ok" 670....=\ [may retake?]
SAT II Math: taking in fall, projected low 700s
ACT: 32-34 [projected]</p>

<p>APs:
Biology [projected 4/5]
Euro [projected 5]
Language [projected 4]</p>

<p>Essays & Recs:
Will be tremendous!</p>

<p>Volunteering:
200+ hours at hospital
50ish hours at Children's Hospital (choosy about letting ppl do it)
50ish hours at retirement home
10 or so hours at library
20 or so hours from FTA </p>

<p>Extracurriculars (the main ones):
--Orchestra for 8 years
--Speech & Debate
--PJAS [PA Junior Academy of Sciences] --- a research project presented in front of judges [won 1st place and 2nd place throughout 2 years]
--Community Tennis
--Musical Student Director
--Indian Cultural Association of Pittsburgh
--National Honor Society
--Future Teachers of America [im not gonna be a teacher, but iwanna be a pediatrician and thus, i did this to get experience with kids...and cos it was fun!]</p>

<p>hmm...premed? same here...well I think you'll definitely have a shot at all the universities above, though Brown seems a bit of a reach. I won't say anymore on your chances because I don't want to mislead you with false assumptions but I'll recommend that you use the common data sets of your schools to see where you stand. For example, 700 per section is the 75% for applicants at NYU. Typically, above 50% is good competitively except at the schools where athletes and legacies are more frequent (e.g. Brown). You'll be fine though. Good luck!</p>
