<p>I'm from Korea, and it's been three years since I came to the States.
I'm now attending to a private high school which is ranked at about 50th.
These are my grades..</p>

<p>Overall GPA(uw) : 3.40.......
Freshmen : 3.48(3.33, 3.58, 3.52)
Sophomore : 3.28(3.52, 3.21, 3.27)
Junior : 3.52(3.27, 3.47, 3.78)</p>

<p>SAT I : 2260(R:740, M:800, W:720)
SAT II : Math IIC:780,800, World History:650, Physics:660,770, US History:750</p>

<p>AP : AB Cal(5), BC Cal(5), AP Phys(4)</p>

<p>Extracurricular Activities:
JVB Soccer Captain(11), JV Tennis MIP(10), Math Team(9,10,11,12; Captain(10,11,12)), MIT Math Tournament(10; 2nd place)<- not a significant one, Community Service(9), Peer Tutor(11), Peer Mentor(11), Rock Band Vocalist(10,12),
MUN Delegate(11), Tour Guide(10,12) and other miscellaneous things..</p>

<p>I had my ankle broken for 2 years(9~10th) for a complex reason, and I'm planning to write an essay on it.</p>

<p>Please help me with this. Please tell me where I should or should not apply. It can be any college other than ones on the list.
I have no one around me during the summer to ask questions about the college application process.

<p>The fact that you've only been in the states for 3 years is very impressive considering your SATs and ECs. You're in everywhere but the Ivys can go either way.</p>

<p>Good for you. I wouldn't do so well in a Korean high school. Your GPA will hold you back.</p>

<p>well, let me shed a different light</p>

<p>your incredibly high sat considering that you've only been here for 3 years suggest that you are quite proficient in english. your incredibly low GPA (for top schools anyway) suggest, then, that you've been quite lazy. decent ECs... captain is good and quite special since you've been here only for 3 years. some appear to be random filler stuff since you only did it for one or two years with no leadership. </p>

<p>however, there are many more asians who've been here for merely several years and who've accomplished more than you. therefore, you will be rejected by ivies and ivy-tier schools and perhaps in at the rest</p>
