lol I think Chicago is probably out of my reach but anyway...

GPA : 4.05 out of 5.0 weighted (pretty bad I know, that's like top 18%ish in my HS although our school does not rank, I'm not very good at my humanities classes. But my grades show a very strong upward trend)

SAT: M:800, CR:660, WR: 690

SAT II's : Math Level II: 800, Chemistry: 800

AP's: BC Calculus-5, Chemistry-5, Statistics-5

EC/Awards:
-two time USAMO qualifier (AMC12: 129, AIME: 9)
-ARML participant (scored a 7 out of 8 in the 2006 ARML, which is like top 50ish that year?)
- AMC school winner/high scorer
- 3rd in my state math competition this year
- member of school math team
- random volunteering (60+ hours) for local non-profit organizations

Woah. Your math is impressive (particularly AMC and AIME). However, this in itself won't get you in. Chicago avoids people that are too concentrated in a particular area (math it seems, for you), so it definitely seems like you'd have trouble getting in.

My tip on getting in? Prove that you're not that math-oriented in your essays. Avoid math and science at all costs and write something completely out of the ordinary for your essay. You don't need to retake your SATs. They won't play a significant role in your admission.

But anyway, are you sure Chicago is even right for you? The Core is composed of a lot of humanities/social science classes, and if you're so focused on math (as it appears), this may not suit you at all.

Chicago has the Core so if you don't do well in the humanities, I would reconsider this school because you are going to be taking lots of humanities classes.

If math is all you're looking for, I wouldn't suggest applying to Chicago either. I have a similar issue (the great majority of my classes are sciences), but my other interests should come out through the essay and question about your favorite books, music, etc. Don't let that discourage you!
