<p>Made some mistakes such as not taking the SAT I earlier, so I'm taking it in October, and if necessary re-taking in December. Shooting for a 2100+. Assume atleast a 2000.</p>

<p>Year 9 Average: 71%
Year 10 Boards: 79.2%
Year 11 Average (IB): 37/42 82.2%

<p>Applying to the following:
Purdue (hoping for Engineering honors + Valedictorian scholarship + Academic success scholarship)
GATech
Wisconsin-Madison</p>
<p>Will have good recs from Physics and English teacher.</p>
<p>1 more question.. on the Purdue site, for their scholarships they have mentioned that the class rank must be in the top five percent .. any idea if your rank has to be in the top 5% all throughout high school or just in year 11/12? Looks like it includes year 9 and 10 too.. damnit</p>

<p>S33D, schools that don't provide need-based aid but merit scholarships to international students usually require all applicants to send in proof for their ability to pay full tuition (since it's not sure that you'll receive any merit aid).
I don't know if it's the case for Purdue though.</p>
