<p>Essays and rects - excellent, but the "why major" essay to CM is way too short (didn't realize that it was supposed to be so long, wrote 2 shot paragraphs)</p>

<p>What specifically are your ECs? Ever done any competitions? Exhibitions? Research?</p>

<p>I don't think my son wrote much for his why __ major on his application last year - it was so obvious from the rest of his application (computer geek) he had very little more to say. I doubt he had more than a paragraph.</p>
<p>Looks matchy as long as your ECs are decent.</p>
<p>I have been dancing, as is probably obvious. Most of my ECs are about dancing. There were several academic/essay competitions, where I did well, And standard stuff like NHS, National Merit (only commended). A lot of research!
I guess it is beyond decent. Just very little community service and sports.</p>
