BTW, I am applying as a junior. I am going to either SSP this summer or Carnegie Mellon's Summer Program for Diversity.

<p>Well, can't say absolutely, positively accepted, but you'd be a very, very strong applicant at MIT. Chances certainly much, much higher than 50%.</p>

<p>You should also apply to other, similar schools (if they have the major you want), where your chances would be even better: Johns Hopkins, Carnegie Mellon, Georgia Institute of Technology, U of Michigan - Ann Arbor, UC - Berkeley, maybe U of Chicago, etc.</p>

<p>Wow, you just listed a bunch of my other schools, GT, Carnegie, and UChicago. Well, I'm really only applying to two schools a year early, that would be MIT and Caltech.</p>
