OMG it's redundant what I'm going to say, but I'll say it anyway: your stats are impressive.
Yes, you have good chances to get in. Just calm down. MIT is hard to get in for everyone.

Not sure if I understand the "applying as a junior"
statement in your post....?

hey, first i want to say that you have great chances.
i went to cmu's diversity for AP/EA. it was the most fun ive had in my life and i learned a great deal (i took ethics and java). id recommend it over SSP, though i have no experience with the latter whatsoever.
good luck, and maybe ill see you on campus next year.

I am applying a year early than most people would. Yea, if i were to go to CMU, I would probably take Physics E&M and Differential Equations.

I would say ur on a good track just keep ur EC's up and do as much as possible. it wouldnt hurt to do fund raising or attend a few cancer walks (check my chance posts, my ec's are pretty good).

arwen15: i think that implies hes a sophmore now, i think.

I think you're a very strong candidate for early admission next year given your math situation- you've clearly surpassed the resources your school can offer you in that regard. Best of luck!

Yea, well, I'm doing Relay for Life again, and last year, the one I did was Top 5 Nationally in terms of $ per person. And I've run all the fundraisers for my class in school. The only thing I'm worried about is my lack of any research experience. I really feel like I'm missing out, but I just don't have the time. I know its rather silly, but will that hurt me too much?

Contrary to common belief, curing cancer is not a prerequisite for admission.

You'll be fine. Sounds like you're keeping busy regardless.
