<p>i think uve got a good chance, but u should try to get your ACT score up, i honestly dont know anything abt the ACT, but it seems like it should be at least a 30 for Emory. but with ur situation, thats understandable. other than that, your grades, SAT II scores, class rank combined with extra curriculars and the fact your a URM makes you a really strong applicant. the only weak pt u have is ur ACT score....
remember to write a killer essay for "why emory", and i think you'll be good. also, if you really really really want to go to emory, you should also apply to oxford (i heard its the same application), i just didnt b/c i know ppl there and they dont like it, then again, i dont know anyone on the main campus so maybe its the same way lol.
and remember to show demonstrated interest, like order the video, write down a student's name on your application, go visit, etc...
if you show demonstrated interest, and have good essays, it'll hopefully trump the ACT score...</p>

<p>are you taking the TOEFL? Use that to your advantage, especially if you've only been here 3 years</p>
