Chance me please :)

As the time is getting closer, I am being more anxious The main reason is probably because I leave all my tests to my senior year. I really appreciate any input in here!

I transferred from school in China to US high school in my junior year. So I got a little behind in everything and obviously I am not a good test taker...

will work for a state attorney running for congressman this coming fall

p.s. is it weird to see an international to get involved so much in US politics?

Recommendation letters:
I'm going to ask my International Politics teacher to write me one and my math teacher for another.Additionally the congressman whom I worked for this summer will write me one.

I am getting dreadfully anxious these days since I am still struggling with all the standardized tests while others have already begun application process. I hope we all can help each other go through this period of time and finally get in whichever college you wish to go!=) Again I really appreciate all the inputs in here:)

You EC's and Work experiance are strong especially considering your interest in majoring International Relations. IF you really stress them in your application, it will set you apart from other applicants. However, your courseload (many Yale applicants will take 10+ AP's in high school), and SAT score (you really should have 2250+) are a little weak. Colleges might be more forgiving of these factors when they see that you had to make a transfer from a different country. I would suggest a slightly more ambitious courseload senior year and you would really have to work to break 2200 on your SAT's. As it stands your chances are low, but if you were to make those improvements I think your chances would increase dramatically.

Best of luck!

GPA is only alright and you need to improve your SAT score and to take SAT II's in the first place. Don't apply early -- you simply aren't ready yet. But I think your EC's are good...

I'd say rejection with the SAT score.
To be competitive at HYPSM(Harvard,Yale,Princeton,Stanford,MIT) The 5 hardest to get into in the U.S., you need a 2200+ SAT score to be competitive.
